There are two types of written exam. 1. Preliminary Exam and 2. Main Exam. Both the exam consists of objective type questions. Each wrong answer carries 0.25 negative marks. The furthermore details,

Preliminary Exam

Preliminary Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam is for the qualification purpose only. preliminary exam marks will not be considered for the final merit list. As said above the preliminary exam carries 0.25 negative mark for each wrong answer, hence candidate should considered while writing preliminary exam. The cutoff mark for the main exam will be selected by sbi. Hence candidates need to score more marks to get selected for next level.

Candidate who passed in preliminary exam are eligible to write main exam. The Main exam consist of objective type of questions same as preliminary exam. Each wrong answer carries 0.25 negative marks. The Marks Obtained in main exam will be considered for final merit list. Candidates need to secure the minimum cutoff mark in each section as well should score maximum mark to get selected for Interview.

Sbi Clerk Syllabus 2017 : Interview Process

candidates who scored higher marks in main exam is called for interview according to their category in descending order. The marks scored in interview process is considered for final merit list. 5 % relaxation in interview marks will be given for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The Marks obtained in Main Exam and Interview Process will be considered.
